Amy-Lauren Lum Won is originally from the small town of Barnwell, South Carolina and has called Hanapepe, Kauai home since 2002. Living in Hawaii, she fell in love with deep sea fishing, especially Pacific Blue Marlin and Yellowfin tuna. I love color and movement in art. When I paint a fish, it is most important to me to capture the feeling of being in the presence of these magnificent fish...the memories of magical days spent on the wild ocean. She is the owner of Amy-Laurens Gallery, a multi artist gallery that she opened in 2005 along with her sister, Internationally collected impressionist painter Camile Fontaine. Amy-Lauren splits her time between Kauai, and her home state of South Carolina. When she isnt painting fish, she and her husband Corey are fishing on their boat, the Mango Maru, which is named after their pet pig, Princess Mango.
